RESOLUTION

Little Green Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District

“Adaptive Management Committee”

Whereas the Board of the Little Green Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District:

· Continues to fulfill its commitment to improve the water quality of Little Green Lake

· Maintains its pro-active role in developing those programs that will aid the Board in accomplishing the above mentioned goal

· Is desirous of working with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in the pursuit of the Department’s Mission Statement with emphasis on the following “to work with people to understand each other’s views and to carry out the public will”

· Is committed to promote open, informative and constructive dialogue with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources  

Therefore be it resolved that the Board of the Little Green Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District:

· Has this day established an Adaptive Management Committee

· The Board has approved the appointment of the following members

Mike Boeselager

Dave Chroust

Richard Schneider

Todd Schulz

· Has engaged the services of Aaron Gruenewald to also serve on the committee in the role of consultant/scientist to aid the committee in developing those appropriate strategies to be recommended to the Board.

· Has assigned this board designated committee the responsibility to recommend those strategies that, in their collective opinion, will best serve the District members in improving the water quality of Little Green Lake.

· Will from time to time, at its discretion, assign a board member or other designee to attend committee meetings on an “ad hoc” basis.

· Reserves the right to incorporate the findings of this committee into a revised and updated “Lake Management Plan” at such time as it determines pending the engagement of a consulting group to be chosen at a future date.

· Will make the committee’s findings and the resulting recommendations to the District members at either the Annual Meeting or a Special Meeting called by the Board.
