The weekend prior to the treatment there was a fish kill along the East shore.  Dave Bartz from the DNR said he thought it was from lack of oxygen due to the thick week growth, in that area.  

Nuisance weed treatment occurred around 50 piers on Monday July 12th.  Notices have been placed on piers and or properties around the treated areas.

People should not consume fish for 48 hours after treatment.
